Position Overview:

As our Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with our Finance team to support the company’s financial operations and provide insights for business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory reports.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
